Am Wochenende fand auf Kreta mit dem „Agios Nikolaos on SUP“ bereits das vierte „The Euro Tour“ Event des Jahres statt.
Wie bereits berichtet, springen in den nächsten Wochen immer mehr Topstars auf die Tour auf und so war das Fahrerfeld auf Kreta bereits mit einigen internationalen Racern gespickt.
Michael Booth reiste über 27 Stunden aus Australien an und siegte komfortabel vor Titouan Puyo und Vinnicius Martins. Den Zieleinlauf von „Boothy“ haben wir hier auf Video für euch.Bruno Hasulyo auf Platz 4, Daniel Hasulyo auf Platz 7, Leonard Nika auf Platz 8 und Boris Jinvresse auf dem neunten Rang machen die Starboard SUP Teamperformance einmal mehr komplett. Spannend war es bei den Damen. Amandine Chazot aus dem Starboard Team siegte vor Olivia Piana. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!

„I really love to downwind and was expecting such a race. I opted for the Sprint 14 x 21.5 because I love it in these conditions as it’s fast and picks up the smaller bumps really easily. I had a good start and after 1km I found myself in the lead, just as we got into the bumps. I was feeling great and caught glide after glide, to lead the race from start to finish. I am very proud to win this race against a very competitive women’s field!
